Customer for this job has used us before for some Internet based work but had moved to a remote area of Clitheroe and was trying to work from home but didn't realise how bad the Internet was going to be with speeds of approx 5mbs which wasn't enough to work from home or allow the rest of the family to carry on with Netflix etc.
They rang us up to discuss how things could be improved and the only real and reliable option was to use Starlink of which they subsequently ordered the equipment from www.starlink.com which arrived within a week and an installation date was arranged.
The house was a Barn conversion with thick walls and the client wanted the router in the office, the dish was fitted on the wall on a galvanised wall bracket and alloy mast for a nice secure installation with no rusty brackets in the future.
The speeds coming in from the Starlink were an impressive 220mbs which for a remote property is fantastic.
