Starlink Installation Project in Bolton, Lancashire

Here at Home Network Solutions we are often asked to improve the Internet speed as well extending the existing network coverage. In this case the customer had contacted us to get wi-fi coverage around the home along with a hard wired connection into the office which was a long way from router. We also discussed to improve the internet speed which at this remote property was about 7mbs off BT and no other option, we discussed Starlink and the customer took the plunge and ordered the kit from www.starlink.com .

The equipment arrived and we initially installed the Starlink at the end of the property above the lounge using a galvanised wall bracket and alloy mast with cable fed into the lounge. We then installed 2 Cat 6 externally run cables one approx 25 meters to the end of the house due to the fact there was 3 solid stone walls inbetween where the 2 mesh routers were to be placed, the second run was approx 75 metres around the building into the office with sockets installed.

We then installed 3 TP Links x55 mesh routers to create a seamless network which worked perfectly and due to the backhaul system installed by us we achieved approx 280mbs across the whole network.

Customer was happy and impressed with the Starlink system.
