Starlink Installation Project on a new Home in Wigan.

The customer in this Project had just had a new home built although very modern looking it was pretty remote and isolated on the fringes of Wigan.
Bt wouldn't run fibre to the house due to its remote location and very costly unless the client would front the bill of approx £70,000, Virgin was nonr existant and mobile providers weren't offering a stable service. We then got into the discussion about Starlink who the client had never heard of and he decided to take the plunge and ordered the Starlink kit direct from www.starlink.com which arrived within a couple of days and we arranged an installation date.
The house was white k rendered so the dish was fitted up high using a galvanised wall bracket and alloy mast one for longevity and the other to prevent any rust marks on the render. The cable was routed into the loft space where the builder had pre wired some Ethernet cabling, the dish aligned itself up and speeds were coming down at 200mbs.
The second part of our install was to terminate all the connections with rj45 fittings and install some RJ45 sockets from what the builder had left. We fitted a small 5 way network switch to distribute the Starlink through the Ethernet pre wired and installed a couple mesh TP link x55 units creating complete home coverage.
