Here we have a completed installation of a Starlink system for a client who lives in a remote area of Chorley and was suffering with real poor quality internet speeds from BT of approx 5mbs and Virgin wasn't available at their location, the option of using Mobile providers was again unstable and not reliable enough.

Client initially contacted us for a bit of advice on how to improve the signal and wi-fi around the property and we got into the conversation of how bad the internet speeds were and realised this needed to be improved otherwise nothing we did would make it any better without an increase in speed an reliability.

We then advised the Client of Starlink Internet which was ideal for this type of issue where nothing could be improved with the lack of Internet Infrastructure that was currently in place at their location. The customer hadn't heard of Starlink but decided this was going to be the solution for them and subsequently ordered the equipment from www.starlink.com .

The Starlink arrived within a couple of days and installation date was agreed, pretty straightforward installation with the dish being fitted up on the gable end using a Galvanised wall bracket and alloy mast to ensure a long lasting installation without any rust marks the cable was routed into the lounge with a wall socket was fitted.

The Starlink system was up and running within 45 mins and speeds of 230mbs were coming down and the client couldn't believe the what a game changer this was going to be.

Now we have a good fast and stable Internet connection at the property it was a matter of installing some mesh networking routers in, for this property we used the reliable TP Link X55 range which are small table mounted routers with WI-FI 6, due to the thick stane walls and to maintain the full speed from the Starlink system we ran 1 of the mesh nodes over Cat6 external cable with the other being a wireless standalone on the upstairs landing.

All in all a very successful installation with both ends of the property at 200mbs and approx 160 anywhere in the house over wi-fi with one network.
